Tapioca Oligodextrin, also known as Cassava Oligodextrin is a glucose-based sweetener that shares similar properties with rice and wheat maltodextrins, infact it is exactky the same as rice maltodextrin except the protein content is more than 0.5%.
Tapioca Oligodextrin is derived from pure tapioca flour and consist of a chain of polymers that have a slow breakdown period, resulting in a slow, steady release of energy in the body. Tapioca flour is processed using enzymes, with the final product being a white colored powder.
