It is produced by applying an enzymatic process to dried rice starch, leaving behind a slightly sweet powder.It is commonly used to improve chewiness of products such as gum, bread and candies. Rice Syrup Solids also inhibits sugar crystallization, and aid with the binding process. Our RiceSyrup Solids are also great cryoprotectants that limit ice crystallization.
