Together, our common goal is to produce high quality, safe products by promoting a culture of quality and food safety awareness and developing technical skills and knowledge through training.

In matters related to quality and food safety, we are committed to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Management is committed to continually improve and support the development of and compliance with quality and product safety management systems and programs in line with the company’s objectives and targets which are established on regular basis. The policy and objectives are compatible with the context and strategic direction of SGC and are reviewed periodically through the management review process.

HALAL POLICY

Shafi Gluco Chem (Pvt.) Ltd. is committed to providing world class products to our customers through setting objectives and targets in all areas of our operation including food delivery with respect to halal with the aim of continually improving our service performance. Our performance is regularly monitored and measured and the results, used by management to deliver improved customer satisfaction.

Consistent with our approach to achieving sustainable outcomes, we are committed to complying with and exceeding, where practicable, relevant Pakistani halal and other related requirements as set by the Federal Territory of Pakistan.

Our suppliers and contractors are an important part of our service delivery process. We recognize their importance and work with them to ensure that their performance, especially in the area of halal compliance, meets our standards.

Shafi Gluco Chem (Pvt.) Ltd. is committed to complying with the requirements of our halal assurance and to working with our customers, suppliers, contractors and employees to continually improve its effectiveness.

Shafi Gluco Chem (Pvt.) Ltd. is committed to meet the halal regulatory requirements by ensuring that the ingredients that we use are certified by the authorized halal certification bodies and other related regulatory bodies and that our processing aids, equipment and utensils are clean and free of non-halal ingredients. A Halal committee, comprising representatives from various departments, has been established with responsibility for all matters pertaining to halal.

GLUTEN POLICY

At Shafi Gluco Chem (Pvt) Ltd, we are committed to produce safe, legal and GFCO-compliant gluten-free products. We see gluten free products as one of our strengths when meeting our customers’ expectations and ensuring their complete satisfaction. As we know contamination of gluten-free foods with gluten containing foods needs to be avoided by people with Coeliac disease because even a tiny amount of gluten may cause symptoms and gut damage.

Together, our common goal is to produce gluten free products by promoting a culture of gluten awareness and developing technical skills and knowledge through training.

The Management team, on behalf of ownership, is fully committed to supplying safe, gluten-free products through continuous procedural improvement to effectively control gluten and gluten cross-contamination from incoming ingredients to the final product which are reviewed periodically through the management review process.

FEED SAFETY POLICY

At Shafi Gluco Chem, we establish FSMS objectives at relevant roles and levels that are in line with this policy and applicable legal requirements. These objectives are quantifiable, monitored, verified, and reviewed to ensure effectiveness. Documented information is maintained and revised as necessary. We are fully committed to ensuring the safety and quality of all feed products we produce, handle, and supply. Our Feed Safety Policy forms the foundation of our Feed Safety Management System (FSMS), which is designed to meet the requirements of GMP+ standards, applicable feed legislation, and customer expectations.

We are committed to the following principles:

We ensure relevant feed safety information is shared clearly and promptly with employees, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders, internally and externally.

We commit to the ongoing improvement of our FSMS by fostering a strong feed safety culture, investing in employee training, and maintaining the necessary technical and regulatory knowledge across our operations.
