Brown rice syrup is a light-amber colored syrup, clean-sweet, buttery and honey-like in flavor. It is made from the enzymatic treatment of rice using GMO free natural enzymes which are filtered and concentrated to heavy syrup. Tapioca is also easy to digest and free of allergens. As is the case with all of Shafi’s ingredients, our Tapioca is also certified for vegan and non-GMO clients, it is also halal and kosher, and available in multiple variants.
We produce our fructose syrup using a rice or tapioca base. Our fructose syrup is produced by enzymatically converting some of the glucose into fructose. Its sweetness and ability to blend easily with other ingredients makes it viable for a multitude of applications.

Unlike the above syrups, Hi-fructose syrup is another natural humectant, is known for improving mouth feeling, balancing sweetness, and control and regulating acidity.
Our Low Sugar Syrup, derived from both Rice and Tapioca, serves as a direct replacement for the traditional glucose syrup. Produced through the hydrolysis of Rice or Tapioca, the syrup has exactly the same sweetness as traditional glucose syrups, resulting in little to no change in terms of product application and performance.
