Fructose Syrup, also known as glucose–fructose, isoglucose and glucose–fructose syrup is a clear colored sweetener made from Rice or Tapioca. It is also known as fruit sugar as it primarily occurs naturally in many fruits. With its delicate, sweet and neutral taste, and ability to blend easily with other ingredients makes it’s a very viable choice for consumers to use it in a variety of applications. Fructose syrup is made through enzymatic hydrolysis of starch. Fructose syrup is made from Rice or Tapioca Flour using Natural and Non-GMO enzymes. These enzymes convert glucose into fructose. It has complementary properties to white sugar and is the sweetest of all naturally occurring sugars. It is used as a substitute to table sugar – sucrose in some foods because these syrups are liquid unlike table sugar, which is crystallized. Thus, they are easier to blend with other ingredients in creams, ice creams, drinks and other liquid or semi-liquid foods.
